Since the Damsels, as Alaĕna mockingly calls them, snatched Dīcărĕ two years earlier, the young magician has been honing her skills to save him.

Alongside her close friend Bartholomew and some new extraordinary companions, Alaĕna is ready to storm the enemy’s gates. But the mission is no longer just about saving her best friend. The D-A-M-L has been systematically wiping out her kind. If the Damsels think they’ll be able to defeat this group of marvelous Magicians—and Bartholomew—they’ve got another thing coming.
